What happens to my data? (privacy and data protection)
The data entered by any user will only be stored and processed for the project „PiA - Physics in Advent“. The data are only used for that purpose by Georg-August-Universität Göttingen and the German Physical Society (DPG). They will not be passed on to any third parties. The data will be deleted end of January 2016. We do point out that data transfer over the internet (for example via email communication) may be insecure. A complete and gap-less protection against any access of third parties is not possible.
We explicitely dis-approve any use of our contact data which we are legally oblied to publish in the imprint for use of third parties, advertisements or other offers of information or services. The owner and provider of this web page reserve the right for legal steps in the case of un-requested advertisements, for example via spam-mails.
Project "Physics for refugees"
When filling the recruitement form for volunteers of the project "Physics for refugees", your entered data will be stored in the DPG server. The data will only be used for the organisation of this project and for contacting you. They will not be passed on to any third party. You can withdraw your approval for storage of this data. In this case we will delete your data.
